Fort Supply man pleads guilty in bank robbery in Woodward

A Fort Supply man has pleaded guilty to a federal felony charge of bank robbery with a knife stemming from the Feb. 25 robbery of a Woodward bank.

Kenneth Leon Hatchet, 51, pleaded guilty Thursday in Western District Court to robbing Central National Bank of Alva in Woodward using a 13-inch stainless steel knife.

Hatchet got away with $3,780 from the bank, according to court documents.

Hatchett faces a maximum of 25 years in prison and fine of up to $250,000. According to U.S. Attorney John C. Richter, sentencing will take place in the next 90 days.
