The after prom committee will hold a Donkey Basketball game at 7 p.m. March 23 in the Lamont High School Gym with Deer Creek-Lamont vs. Medford and Deer Creek-Lamont vs. Pond Creek. Advance tickets are $6 and $8 at the gate. Contact Janise Blanton at (405) 880-1207.

The local livestock show held Feb. 22, in Lamont was good. The Booster Club sponsored a dinner that raised more than $500 and the Labor Auction that auctioned off all 39 FFA students, as well as the ag teacher Ty LaRue. The total money brought in off of the Labor Auction was $5,305.

Parent-teacher conferences for the high school will be 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and 8 a.m. to noon Friday. The parent-teacher conferences for the elementary will be on Friday.

The Lamont United Methodist Church will host a Girls Night Out at 6 p.m. March Sunday. All women are welcome. The guest speaker will be Pat Hoerth from Turtle Rock Farm.
