Hitchcock Fire Department hosts its annual pancake and sausage supper 5 to 8 p.m. today at Hitchcock School gym. Meal is by donation only. Hitchcock is located 12 miles south of Okeene on Oklahoma 8.

Okeene Elementary School recently held its local spelling bee. Winners are fourth-grade champion Jada Lorenz and runner-up Alex Winter and fifth- and sixth-grade champion Brexton Smith and runner-up Olivia Westfahl.

District vocal music contest is Tuesday at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, Alva.

Fifth and sixth grades will participate in the state writing test on Wednesday.
