One race has developed in Garfield County municipal elections as two candidates have filed for the Waukomis Ward 4 board of trustees seat.
Filing ends at 5 p.m. today. Town board positions are open in Covington, Garber, Lahoma, North Enid and Waukomis.
In Waukomis, George Milacek and John R. Heasley have filed for the Ward 4 post.
Other filings were:
• Covington — Sherry Sterling, board of trustees; and Darla Dixon, treasurer.
• Garber — Patricia K. Berry, Ward 2 city council; and Debbie Powell, Ward 4 city council.
• Lahoma, Kay S. David-son, treasurer; Jessica Hug-gins and Gary Naugle Jr., board of trustees full term; and Melvin Bacher, Ronald E. Best II and Milton David, board of trustees unexpired term.
• North Enid — Anita Maly, treasurer; and Brenda Jo Huddleston and Linda Waters, board of trustees.
No candidates have filed for Garber treasurer or the Ward 1 and Ward 3 unexpired terms on the city council. No candidates have filed for Waukomis Ward 2 trustee.
