First Bank and Trust held a bike giveaway prior to Christmas. Winners of the bikes were Haley Postier and Dalton Jordan.
The bank held its annual Christmas open house last month. Jean Beeby’s art class made jar candle holders for the center pieces. Students contributing were Nick Phillips, Luke Postier, Brian Winters, Kerry Storm, Josh Storm, Brandan Neundorf, Jeff Carpenter, Destiny Crews, Westin Finke, Dakota McClogin, April Smith and Laci Lairmore. Home and School Club met Jan. 6 at the Senior Center. Pat Powers reported buying two presents for names on the Angel Tree.
Members paid dues for the coming year. Everyone signed up for a month to be hostess. Pat Powers won the hostess gift.

St. John’s Lutheran Church will hold its annual voters meeting at 7 p.m. Sunday. A covered-dish meal will be served prior to the meeting at 5:45.
