No one was injured Friday afternoon when a 57-year-old Enid man drove his mini-van into the window of Dollar General Store on South Van Buren.
According to an Enid Police Department report, Dale O. Bell told police he was slowing to park in front of the store, 1724 S. Van Buren, about 1:19 p.m. when his 2003 Ford Windstar went over the curb in front of the store, hitting a load-bearing pole under the overhand with his passenger-side mirror and hitting the window.
Bell told police he tried to put the vehicle into park “but it would not go,” according to the report.
