NOC students receive their associate degrees
Northern Oklahoma College associate degrees in arts, science and applied science were awarded to 24 Enid students at the close of the summer session. A total of 102 graduates completed requirements for their degrees during this term.
Summa cum laude graduates maintained a grade-point average of 3.75 to 4.00. Graduating summa cum laude with associate in arts degrees were Sarah Gerszewski, criminal justice administration, and Jyl Ratzlaff, social science.
Magna cum laude graduates maintained a GPA of 3.50 to 3.74. Graduating magna cum laude with associate in arts degrees in criminal justice administration were Rosalia Arana and Michael Baker. Earning associate of applied science degrees were Jared Hoag, electronics technology, and Shelby Trebilcock, radiography.
Cum laude graduates maintained a GPA of 3.25 to 3.49. Cum laude graduates earning associate in arts degrees were Tabitha Hess, social science, and Patricia Lugo, elementary education. Jennifer Mayhugh earned an associate in science degree in arts and science. Receiving associate in applied science degrees were Sandra Milacek, surgical technology, and Kira Rogers, health services technology.
Other Enid students earning associate in science degrees were William Boyes, business administration; Shanna Buckles, arts and sciences; Rozanna Green, business administration; Anne Higby, arts and sciences; Samantha Matthews, pre-med; Brandon Miller, arts and sciences; Nichole Morgan, arts and sciences; Kyle Wanzer, arts and sciences; and Kimberly Wilson, nursing. Earning associate in applied science degrees were Jonathan Gearhart, network engineering; Jennifer Toney, radiography; and Jami Viveiros, radiography. Bailey Phillips earned an associate in arts degree in elementary education.

Fairmont — Austin Phillips, associate in applied science degree, drafting and design;
Fairview — Brandi Lowder, magna cum laude associate in applied science degree, Web development;
Lahoma — Dedra Pettus, cum laude associate in science degree, business administration; Misty Stroud, associate in science degree, business administration;
Nardin — Afton Shields, associate in science degree, business administration;
Okeene — Courtney Seelke, magna cum laude associate in arts degree, criminal justice administration;
Waukomis — Devin Decker, associate in science degree, arts and sciences; Stacie King, cum laude associate in applied science degree; and Brian Ring, cum laude associate in applied science degree, network engineering.

UPDATED photo- Silver Alert issued for missing Garfield County man
Garfield County authorities have issued a Silver Alert for an 88-year-old man who hasn’t been seen since leaving for church. The county sheriff’s office says Edward Sutter was last seen about 9:30 a.m. Sunday when he left home for 1st United Methodist Church in Enid. Sutter never arrived at the church. He was last seen driving a gray, 2003 Toyota Avalon. Authorities had initially said he was driving a Toyota Altima.
