A couple of upcoming events will benefit the Toys for Tots campaign in Enid.
Janes Machine Shop will host the 15th annual toy collection and car show 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday for Toys for Tots.
The shop, 421 S. Grand, will have free hot dogs, hamburgers and drinks. Entertainment will be provided by America’s Kids. People attending are asked to bring a new, unwrapped toy, which will be placed in a drawing for a door prize.
Next week, Park Avenue Thrift will match every donation to Toys for Tots, up to $2,500, for donations made by Tuesday at the Toys for Tots office, 112 W. Randolph.
Park Avenue Thrift, 507 S. Grand, is open 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday. It is an outreach of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church. Call 233-PARK.
