Dana Simon, of the Thomas Gilcrease Museum of Art in Tulsa, will give a brown bag talk at noon Wednesday titled, “From Sagebrush to State-hood.”
The talk will showcase items from the Gilcrease Museum collection that help tell about the development of Oklahoma from the time it was a frontier until statehood.
The talk is sponsored by Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center and will take place at the Heritage Center’s outreach space in Oakwood Mall, next to JCPenney.
The talk is free and open to the public. For information call Glen McIntyre at 237-1907.
