Okeene Cub Scouts from Pack 169 attended the day camp at Roman Nose State Park this summer. They enjoyed horseback riding and archery, while BB-gun belt loop pins were earned. Fishing was enjoyed with the pack catching the most fish — 13 in one hour. Hiking, paddle boat races, crafts, swimming and miniature golf were included in activities. Those attending were Bradly Hicks, Rodney Homalon, Drew Nault, Beau Jenkins, Koby Smith, Jayce Osmus, Zeb Hawkins, Hunter Westfahl and Trey Brown.

Okeene Pack 169 Boy Scouts participated in a week-long stay at Will Rogers Scout Camp. They enjoyed the polar bear swim each morning at 6 a.m. and worked on swimming and merit badges.
Campwide competition included volleyball, baseball and a scavenger hunt. The last evening was family night and families were invited to camp for dinner and to see what went on all week.
Scouts attending were Connor Cusack, Matthew Lamar, Brexton Smith, Mitchell Howe, Zephan Hawkins, Blake Boeckman and Austin Jordan. Leaders attending the weeklong camp were Guy and Jaime Smith and Ron And Lisa Howe.
