Fire to a house in the 400 block of York caused about $15,000 damage Wednesday afternoon.
The fire was reported at 2:20 p.m. at 421 York. No one was home, according to an Enid Fire Department report, but a few birds were lost. Damage was estimated at $10,000 to the structure and $5,000 to contents.
