Fuller awarded $8,000
ONEOK scholarship
Stephen Fuller, of Enid, is one of 25 national recipients of the ONEOK $8,000 college scholarship. Fuller is the son of Randy and Linda Fuller and the grandson of Skeeter and Evelyn Traynor and Cleo and Joyce Fuller, all of Enid.
He plans to attend the University of Oklahoma with a major in microbiology and an emphasis on botany and nanotechnology. Other scholarships received include the OU Club of Enid, University of Oklahoma Presidents Community Scholars, Charles Mehew Pioneer Spirit and Integris-Bass Baptist Scholarship award.
He was a member of National Honor Society, band, editor of the school newspaper and was accepted into Oklahoma Summer Arts Institute while playing for the Oklahoma Youth Orchestra. Instead, he opted to perform at the Kodaly Festival in Eastern Europe with members of the Okla-homa City Philhar-monic. He currently is employed at Vance Air Force Base in public affairs.
