Goltry resident Rick Tyner recently won $6,948 on “The Oklahoma Lottery Game Show,” which aired on July 12.
Tyner purchased his winning entry ticket at Jiffy Trip on Oklahoma 58 in Helena.
Each 30-minute episode of “The Oklahoma Lottery Game Show” features seven contestants, six new contestants and one returning champion, in a series of number-themed games. All players are guaranteed $500 and may have a chance to win more than $50,000 in cash and prizes in each show.
The show airs 6 p.m. Saturdays on KOCB Channel 34 in Oklahoma City.
Net proceeds of all lottery games are used to support Oklahoma education. More than $209 million has been contributed to education since November 2005.
