Garfield County Sheriff’s Office deputies were at the scene where an armed man may have barricaded himself in his house late Wednesday.
According to Undersheriff Jerry Niles, the man apparently fired two shots — one inside the house and one outside — after becoming upset. He said the man was mad because his adult son ate before him.
The house is in the 8600 block of West Carrier Road. Deputies arrived on the scene around 10 p.m. The road was blocked off to the east and west of the house.
