An Okeene man was hospitalized Monday after an accident in Blaine County.
Brandon Wayne Laubach, 28, was taken to the University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City with head and trunk injuries, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report. He was listed in stable condition.
The accident happened at 1:43 p.m. two miles north of the junction of U.S. 270 and Oklahoma 58.
According to the report, Laubach was driving a 2008 Peterbilt pulling a flatbed trailer carrying a bulldozer south on Oklahoma 58 when he went off the west side of the road. His truck traveled in the ditch for 227 feet before hitting an embankment and catching fire.
The highway was closed for a short time while fire departments from Watonga and Eagle City put out the fire.
