A Woodward man was injured Thursday in a collision of two Sea-Doo watercrafts on Fort Supply Lake.
Juan M. Altamirano Diaz, 23, was admitted to Woodward Regional Hospital with internal trunk injuries, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report. He was listed in good condition.
The accident happened at 6 p.m. one-quarter mile north of Coors Island on the lake.
According to the report, Diaz was riding a 9-foot 1995 Sea-Doo and Dillon Tyler Brown, 22, of Woodward, was riding a 9-foot 1994 Sea-Doo. Diaz turned in front of Brown, according to the report, and Brown’s craft hit Diaz’s craft and then hit Diaz in the chest.
