A Mooreland man was injured Friday when he was hit by a deer while riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle.
Jimmy Don Kidd Jr., 29, was admitted to Woodward Regional Hospital in stable condition with leg injuries, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at 9:30 p.m. about five and one-half miles east of Woodward, according to the report.
Kidd was riding his motorcycle east on U.S. 412 when the deer came from the south and hit him. Kidd kept going 300 feet before pulling over to the shoulder, according to the report.
