According to the report, a 2000 Chevrolet pickup driven by Brice Alan Cless, 16, of Medford, was southbound on the county road and failed to yield right of way to the 1982 Mercedes driven by Sladek, which was traveling east on Apache. Cless’ pickup hit Sladek’s car on the driver’s side. Postlewaite was a passenger in Sladek’s car.
Cless was taken to Integris Bass Baptist Health Center in Enid by private vehicle, and was treated and released. A passenger in his truck, Cameron Killian, 15, of Medford, was not injured.

The accident happened at 6:20 p.m. 1.2 miles north of Alva.
According to the report, a 2002 Chevrolet pickup driven by Randall Nation, 41, of Alva, was northbound on U.S. 281 and stopped to allow custom cutters to cross southbound on a narrow bridge.
