A 24-year-old Enid man was injured in a motorcycle accident Saturday afternoon about a mile east of Orienta on U.S. 60 in Major County, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported.
Victor Wade Nash was eastbound on U.S. 60 when he approached a curve at an unsafe speed, applied his brakes, lost control of his motorcycle and hit the south ditch at 1:19 p.m., according to an OHP report. Nash was ejected about 150 feet from the point of impact.
He was taken by Major County EMS to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center in Enid and was admitted in good condition with head, neck and external injuries, according to the report.
