Camp Tomahawk, sponsored by Vance Air Force Base and Greater Enid Chamber of Commerce, is for children who normally would not be able to attend a summer camp because of limited family income. The boys’ camp will be June 2-6 and the girls’ camp will be June 9-13. The children will have the opportunity to participate in activities such as swimming, softball, volleyball, fishing and bowling. There will be cook-outs, visits to Oklahoma City and other activities.
Applications for the camp are available at Greater Enid Chamber of Commerce, 210 Kenwood Blvd. Contact Ricki Crabtree at 237-2494 or email ricki@enidchamber.com for information.
Anyone wishing to support Camp Tomahawk should send contributions to Greater Enid Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 907, Enid, OK 73702.
