In conjunction with National Library Week, Alva Public Library, 504 7th, will hold a free genealogical workshop, conducted by Mary Brown and Larry Thorne, 2-5 p.m. Saturday.
Brown has done extensive research in genealogy, and Thorne has conducted workshops on genealogy.
The workshop will cover genealogy Web sites, books, magazines, family history centers, obituaries, newspapers and questions concerning re-search.
