The Enid Elks Lodge has chosen Capt. Isaac Myers as the Firefighter of the Month for March.
Myers is a graduate of Jet-Nash High School and has been with the fire department at Vance Air Force Base for 31 years. He received his in-house training at the Vance Fire Department and attended firefighter school and emergency medical technician. training at Oklahoma State Uni-versity.
Myers and his wife, Susan, live in Nash. They have three grown children and six grandchildren. They are members of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
Myers enjoys watching old western movies and writes poems and short stories for his grandchildren.
