Staff reports
A three-car accident Thursday afternoon sent two Ponca City residents to the hospital.
Gerritta Quinn, 73, and Sarah Keeton, 75, were transported by LIFE to St. Mary’s Regional Health Center with head and chest injuries.
They were traveling west on Garriott near south 54th in Quinn’s 1996 maroon Buick Thursday when their vehicle was struck by a vehicle driven by Allen Kester, 42, of Enid, according to an Enid Police Department report.
Kester told police he had stopped his 2007 Ford F-150 pickup truck at the intersection of 54th and Garriott. Kester said he did not see Quinn until he had pulled out into the intersection. The impact sent Kester’s truck forward into the front right side of a 2007 GMC Yukon pickup driven by Paul Ryker, 36, of Enid, according to the report. Ryker was stopped at the intersection, heading east.
