An Arnett woman was hospitalized Thursday after being injured in a one-vehicle accident near Sharon.
Helen Margaret Fearn, 74, was admitted to University of Oklahoma Medical Center in Oklahoma City with head, leg and arm injuries, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report. She was listed in serious condition.
The accident happened at 5 p.m. one-half mile south of Sharon on Oklahoma 34.
According to the report, Fearn was driving a 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe north on Oklahoma 34 when she lost control on the bridge, hit a guard rail and flipped over it, landing on the creek bottom. She was pinned for 40 minutes.
