The Pioneer-Pleasant Vale Academic Foundation will host its fourth annual academic banquet at 6 p.m. Thursday in the Pioneer High School cafeteria.
Students will be recognized for academic success, and entertainment will be provided. Teacher grants also will be presented. A short foundation business meeting will follow the program.
Martha Gabriel, a volunteer with the organization, said members of the group have been gathering donations and a silent auction is planned this year.
Barbecue sandwiches, side dishes and dessert will be served by donation. The Pioneer 4-H club will serve the meal. Proceeds will help fund activities supported by the foundation.
For information or to RSVP, go to www.ppvaf.org or call 249-5760 by Monday.
