Insurance Women of Enid will kick off National Association of Insurance Women (NAIW) week with a bake sale today at 1110 S. Hoover. Proceeds from the bake sale will go towards YWCA, Youth and Family Services and “Adopt a Classroom” program, as well as provide further education to the members of IWOE.
Insurance Women of Enid (IWOE), chartered in March 1951, currently has 15 members. The local association continues to serve the community by supporting local organizations through donations and volunteer efforts.
May 20-26 will be a week of celebration for NAIW (Inter-national). More than 320 local associates, representing members from across the United States, Great Britain, Australia, Bermuda, Africa, India, Kuwait, Mongolia, Puerto Rico and Canada will take part in various activities to commemorate the organizations’ 66 years of service to the insurance industry.
