An 18-year-old Enid man turned himself in Wednesday morning after learning a warrant for his arrest had been issued.
Timothy Wade Jordan was arraigned Wednesday afternoon on a felony charge of second-degree rape. Jordan faces one to 15 years in prison if found guilty.
The charge alleges Jordan had sex with a 14-year-old girl June 25.
Enid police received a report June 26 from a 14-year-old girl saying she had been raped by Jordan, according to an affidavit. The girl told police she had sex several times with Jordan the night of June 25 while at a friend’s house in the 3200 block of North 6th.
When police talked to Jordan, he said he knew the girl, but she told him she was 16 years old. Jordan said he had sex with the girl about six times, but not all the same night, according to court records.
He said the first time he had sex with the girl was about two months ago, according to the affidavit.
Jordan is free on a $5,000 bond and was ordered to appear in court again Nov. 1 for a bond appearance.
