Sunset Plaza is celebrating its 38th year with a blood drive and other activities for the family Saturday.
Northwest Oklahoma Blood Institute’s donor coach will be parked at Sunset Plaza 1 to 6 p.m. Other activities include a car wash, free wagon rides for children, free hot dogs, sidewalk sale and a drawing for four $50 Sunset Plaza merchants gift certificates.
Cruises Inc. has partnered with Oklahoma Blood Institute to give donors a chance to win a seven-day western Caribbean cruise for two aboard the Norwegian Sun, which sails from New Orleans to the ports of Costa Maya, Belize and Cozumel. Every donor also will receive a free “Cruise On In” T-shirt, a buy-one-get-one pass to White Water Park and a goodie bag provided by Sunset Plaza merchants, including a free Hastings movie rental, coupon book from the Mail Room, photo album from Hobby Lobby and a planner/calendar from Abbey’s Hallmark. A donor from this drive will win a special Brighton Power of Pink Breast Cancer Awareness bracelet/watch from The Sterling Showcase.
Donors must be at least 17 years of age and weigh 105 pounds or more.
