Chisholm plans town meetings
Staff reports
Roydon Tilley, superintendent at Chisholm Public Schools, will host the first of three town meetings aimed at educating the public about the district capital improvement plan. Tilley also hopes patrons attend to provide input on the plan.
Tonight’s meeting is 7 p.m. at North Enid Town Hall.
Another meeting is is scheduled 7 p.m. Jan. 23 at Carrier Congregational Church. The last meeting is 7 p.m. at Chisholm Middle School Library.
Tilley said he scheduled the meetings so all patrons would have an opportunity to attend and provide input.
Tilley said a PowerPoint presentation will outline needs identified by school staff and educate patrons about the bonded indebtedness of Chisholm compared to other districts in the area.
The school is in need of updated science labs and a multi-purpose area for Chisholm Middle School students, Tilley said. Teachers and staff at Chisholm Elementary School have expressed the need for renovations in the restrooms near the gymnasium.
For more information, call Tilley at 237-5512, Ext. 104.
