ENID, Okla. —
One of two Garber mayoral candidates withdrew from the race Friday.
Garfield County Election Board Secretary Roy Schneider said Donald Todd withdrew from the race. Candidates who wished to officially withdraw had to do so by 5 p.m. Friday.
“That officially closes the race,” Schneider said.
The withdrawal leaves Samuel Strecker in the race. Other Garber races are for Ward 2 Trustee Patricia K. Berry and Warren Dell.
Municipal elections are scheduled for April 2.
