ENID, Okla. —
Garfield County Sheriff’s Office is investigating several arson incidents in eastern part of the county.
Two of the fires were reported late Sunday night and the third about 10 a.m. today.
The two fires reported Sunday were reported about 11:40 p.m. in the 13,300 block of North Champlin and 16,400 block of East Centennial. The fire on Champlin involved 140 bales of hay, and the one on Centennial involved three bales. The total loss of the hay was placed at $14,000.
The fire today was reported about 10 a.m. in the 19,200 block of Keowee. The fire consumed a wooden barn and about 50 bales of hay. A value of the loss has not been assigned.
No injuries were reported in any of the three fires. Garber, Billings and Hunter Fire Departments responded to the fires.
Garfield County Sheriff Jerry Niles said the department believes all three of the fires are related. The State Fire Marshall’s Office has been contacted to assist in the investigation.
