The June 26 death of a Waukomis teen in Stillwater has been ruled a homicide.
An autopsy report for Linda Tucker, 15, released Wednesday by Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s Office lists the manner of the girl’s death as homicide and probable cause of her death as acute methamphetamine intoxication by injection.
Tucker had been at Lake Carl Blackwell, west of Stillwater, for a family reunion. Emergency personnel confirmed the girl was dead at about 1 a.m. in the parking lot of a convenience store in Stillwater, according to the report. Her mother had found her breathing shallowly in the back of a vehicle parked at the lake.
Tucker had three or four puncture wounds in her neck, according to the report. She also had some bruising on her arms and legs and fine scars on her arms.
“It is felt that cause of death is regarded to be acute methamphetamine intoxication by injection,” according to the report.
Stillwater Police Chief Norman McNickle said Wednesday the case has been presented to the Payne County District Attorney’s Office.
No charges have been filed.
Calls to District Attorney Rob Hudson by the Stillwater NewsPress and Enid News & Eagle were not returned Wednesday.
