STILLWATER — A Waukomis girl who died after a family reunion at Lake Carl Blackwell had been injected with methamphetamine, according to the Oklahoma Medical Examiner’s Office.
An autopsy report for Linda Tucker, 15, states the manner of her death was homicide and her probable cause of death was acute methamphetamine intoxication by injection. She also had amphetamine in her system, the report states.
The Medical Examiner’s Office released the autopsy report today.
Emergency personnel confirmed the girl was dead at about 1 a.m. June 26 in the parking lot of a convenience store in Stillwater, the autopsy report states. Her mother found her breathing shallowly in the back of a vehicle parked at the lake, according to the report. She had been at the lake for a family reunion.
Tucker had three or four puncture wounds in her neck, the autopsy report stated.
“It is felt that cause of death is regarded to be acute methamphetamine intoxication by injection,” the report stated.
She also had some bruising on her arms and legs and fine scars on her arms.
Stillwater Police Chief Norman McNickle said today the case has been presented to the Payne County District Attorney’s Office. Charges have not been filed. Calls to District Attorney Rob Hudson this morning were not immediately returned.
