ENID, Okla. —
Brandon Hackett was installed as president of the Kiwanis Club of Enid during the club’s meeting Oct. 10 at The Dutch Pantry.
Also installed were Vice President Jerald Gilbert and Secretary/Treasurer Casey Frank-Felix.
Named to the club’s board of directors were Rick Goben, Matthew Davis, Dane Tate, AJ Wells, Melvin Key and Bill Bandy. Immediate past president is Jerry Cornwell. He will continue to serve on the club board for the next year.
Recent club service activities include Kiwanis Peanut Day, the Train at Meadowlake Park and Little Olympics. Enid Kiwanis Club also has participated with other organizations and helped with the Salvation Army’s bell-ringing and Leonardo’s Noon Year’s Eve Party.
The Kiwanis motto is “Serving the Children of the World.”
Kiwanis International includes 8,400 clubs with more than 270,000 members in 96 nations.
Last year, Kiwanis clubs donated more than $100 million and almost 6 million volunteer hours for community service projects.
