ENID, Okla. —
Garfield County Genealogists will meet at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the Great Plains Room at the Public Library of Enid and Garfield County.
Carolyn Flood, of Kingfisher, will give a program on the “Underground Railroad Quilt.”
She will tell how women used their quilt patterns to send secret messages aiding slaves trying to escape before and during the American Civil War.
Visitors are welcome.
