Pioneer Area Quilt Guild will meet Monday at St. Paul’s Methodist Church, 1904 N. Pecan in Ponca City.
Registration and social hours are between 10:30 a.m. and noon. Hostesses for November are Jane Thomason, Karen Hagerdon, Mary Lou Lorett, Elaine Hughes, Liz Johnston, Linda Paulsen and Mary G. Lebeda.
The stitch-and-assist program will be 10:30-11 a.m.
Guest speaker will be Diane Okeson.
Okeson has taught nursing for more than 30 years. Her two most popular trunk shows are “Piecing Memories” and “Christmas Traditions and Memories.” She has earned ribbons on her quilts and has taught classes on a variety of topics, such as piecing, applique, Hawaiian applique, stained glass quilts and projects to finish quickly.
