ENID, Okla. —
Enid Fire Department battled a house fire at 421 E. Maple Friday afternoon.
The cause of the afternoon blaze remains under investgation. Firefighters responded to a 3:04 p.m. report of a fire in the basement of an unoccupied home. Firefighters entered the basement to fight the flames and cut a hole in the side of the house to ventilate. No one was inside the house and no injuries were reported.
