Enid Writers Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday in the conference room at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, 2929 E. Randolph.
All area writers are welcome. Those attending do not have to join to attend their first meeting.
This month’s program will be a shared study of Noah Lukeman’s ”The First Five Pages: A Writer’s Guide to Staying out of the Rejection Pile,” now part of the curriculum in many universities. Members are asked to read what they can of it before the meeting.
The monthly roll call topic is “A Valentine’s Day Memory.” Members are asked to write 150 words of prose or poetry.
EWC’s theme for this year is “Making the Most of Your Talent.” Monthly programs are based on the three P’s of practice, perseverance, and promotion.
Members of the club also travel together to regional writing conferences. For information, go to the EWC website, enidwriters.com.
