A Perryton, Texas, woman was injured Wednesday in a one-vehicle accident in Grant County.
Tara Lyn Carter, 44, was admitted to Integris Bass Baptist Health Center in stable condition with head and trunk injuries, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
The accident happened at 10 p.m. Wednesday on Oklahoma 132 four miles south of Manchester.
According to the report, Carter was driving a 2001 Nissan Pathfinder north on Oklahoma 132 when she apparently fell asleep and went off the road to the left. She overcorrected, and the vehicle rolled twice, coming to rest on its wheels.
Carter was pinned for about 20 minutes before being freed by members of Manchester Fire Department.
She was wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
