Covington-Douglas basketball homecoming was Saturday against the Deer Creek-Lamont Eagles. This year’s homecoming began with a bang with a superhero-themed spirit week for the Heroic Homecoming. The themes for each day each revolved around a superhero theme, which ultimately prepared students for the events at the end of the week.

Covington-Douglas elementary students, Kelsey Kramer, Parker Smith, Courtney McDonald, Remington Kaiser, Trinitie Fleeson, Lane Williams participated in the Elks Hoop Shoot Contest Jan. 12 in Enid. Courtney McDonald and Trinitie Fleeson took first, and Parker Smith took second. They competed at district in Kingfisher on Saturday.
