Ames native Robert Herman Scott III graduated Cum Laude from the University of Oklahoma Dec. 15 with a Bachelor of Administration in Finance and Economics.
Since attending the university, Robert has been actively involved in the Baptist Student Union as a member of the Leadership Team and a Bible study leader. Through the campus ministry, he has traveled overseas during the summers to the Philippines, Turkey and Israel.
Scott plans on working for his father at Cimarron Windmills before leaving to seek full-time work in Dallas.

Enid schools have procedures, no safe rooms for students
Each Enid Public Schools site has a designated area where students will go in the event of a tornado warning, but there is not any rooms or areas, including two new schools built in the last two years, specifically designed to withstand a large tornado.

Donations being taken for tornado victims
Donations can be made by visiting www.redcross.org or $10 can be donated by texting “REDCROSS” to 90999. The donation will be added to your monthly cell phone bill. Monetary donations are being taken at the Red Cross office, 1023 West Elm, in Enid. A supply drop-off is at 2811 W. Garriott.
