Law enforcement authorities in Logan County captured a pair of escapees from the William Key Correctional Center in Fort Supply about 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
According to Linda Eike, warden’s assistant, the two escaped about 3:20 a.m. Sunday from North Central Behavioral Health Center.
The excapees were identified as 20-year-old Jacob Nelson and 22-year-old Brandon Boggess. They were captured in Guthrie by deputies from the Logan County Sheriff’s Office.
“We would like to express our appreciation to area law enforcement agencies, who really helped in getting these two escapees back into Department of Corrections custody,” said William Monday, deputy warden at the Fort Supply correctional facility.
Records show Boggess was scheduled for release in 2013 on forgery, burglary, larceny and drug convictions in Oklahoma and Pittsburg counties. Nelson was scheduled for release in 2015 on burglary and larceny convictions in Logan County.
