Breast cancer survivors sought by ENE
The Enid News & Eagle will be honoring survivors of breast cancer with a special published edition on Sept. 30.
“We are seeking personal stories from local breast cancer survivors,” said Cindy Allen, managing editor. “We know there are so many inspiring stories of faith, courage and determination, and we want this special section to be a chronicle of those stories.”
Stories may come from survivors or their family members. Photographs also may be included with the stories, Allen said.
Readers may submit their stories by e-mail to editor@enid news.com or they may mail stories to the Enid News & Eagle, 227 W. Broadway, P.O. Box 1192, Enid, OK 73702.
In e-mails, digital photos may be attached to the e-mail and should be no larger than one megabyte.
“We’d like to have photos of our surivors to include with these stories,” Allen said.
Deadline to submit survivor stories is Monday. Stories must include a name, hometown and phone number for verification purposes and should be around 300-400 words.
“This is our chance to honor some very brave and outstanding women in our community whose stories can give others hope and inspiration,” Allen said.
