Lahoma Cimarron Days will begin at 4 p.m. today and 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
All activities Saturday, including vendors and booths, will be on Main Street in front of the school and town hall.
The schedule of events is:
Friday
• 4-6 p.m. — soup suppper, sponsored by Cimarron FCA in the school cafeteria.
• 7 p.m. — Miss and Junior Miss Cimarron Pageant in the old gym.
Saturday
• 7:30 a.m. — breakfast served in town hall and Lahoma Baptist Church.
• 8:30 a.m. — register for parade, pet costume contest, volleyball tournament, horseshoe tournament and home run derby at Lahoma Baptist Church.
• 9–10 a.m. — register food for food contest at Lahoma Baptist Church. Categories are snack foods, chili, breads and desserts. After the contest has been judged the public may pay $1 to taste all entries.
• 9 to noon — free diabetic screening in the new gym lobby.
• 10 a.m. — parade. There will be a float contest, best dressed bike contest and best dressed pet contest.
• 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. — blood donations with Oklahoma Blood Institute in the new gym lobby.
• 11:30 a.m. — Cimarron Review in the old gym. Cimarron Review is a casual pagaent for infants through sixth-grade children sponsored by Cimarron High School cheerleaders. Twelve age groups are available for infant through 5-year-old boys and infant through sixth-grade girls. Entry fee is $13 and each child will receive a trophy. Children are to wear Sunday dress or casual wear. Check in by 11 a.m. at the judges table in the old gym.
• 11 a.m. — food contest in the town hall.
• 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. — Lunch at the town hall by the Warriors For Christ First Baptist Church youth group.
• 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. — Car wash by First Baptist youth at the church.
• Noon to 4:30 p.m. — free kids games, inflatable games, vendors and booths.
• 2 p.m. — turtle races. Box turtles only. Each heat winner will be auctioned off and will race for the championship. Owner of the champion turtle will receive 30 percent of the total auction proceeds. The rest will go to Lahoma Lions Club.
• 5 p.m. — turtle race finals and auction at town park.
• 5 p.m. — benefit dinner and live music at the town park. Donations will go to benefit Rose Birchfield and Hollie McBlair Dean. Birchfield needs a liver transplant and Dean needs a kidney transplant. Dinner will consist of hamburgers and chips. Drinks will be available for purchase throughout the evening. There will be Christian, country and jazz music.
• 6 p.m. — FFA barbecue dinner and trophy auction in the old gym. Dinner will include barbecue sandwiches, baked beans, chips and dessert.

Cimarron Junior High School baseball team will host Drummond at 3:30 p.m. Monday.
