Enid police are seeking the public’s help in identifying a man who robbed Days Inn motel Monday night.
About 8:20 p.m., an unidentified man entered Days Inn, 2901 S. Van Buren, and asked the clerk how much a room was. After the clerk told the man the price, he placed his hand under his shirt, leading the clerk to believe he had a gun.
The clerk gave the man about $500 and told him to “Have a nice day.” The man replied, “Thank you,” and left the business.
The white man was wearing tan shorts, a green Hawaiian shirt and a black hat with a white crown, according to police. No one was injured in the robbery.
“The police de-partment is asking for the public’s help,” said Detective Sgt. Ryan Singleton.
Anyone having information that will lead to an arrest or prosecution is asked to call Garfield County Crime Stoppers at 233-6233 or Enid Police Department at 242-7000.
