Autry Tech ceremony honors National Technical Honor Society students

ENID — Autry Technology Center recently held a ceremony to honor this year’s National Technical Honor Society students. Officials said NTHS is a leader in the recognition of outstanding student achievement in career and technical education in the United States.

Thousands of schools and colleges throughout the U.S. and its territories have a chapter of the honor society on their campus.  NTHS encourages higher scholastic achievement, cultivates a desire for personal excellence and helps top students find success in today's highly competitive workplace.

“We are so proud of this group of students,” said Jeremy Eaton, Autry director of student activities. “They represent the top 5 percent  of our school — the ‘best of the best.’ We anticipate much success from them as they continue their educations or enter the workforce in the Enid area and beyond.

“These candidates have demonstrated excellent skills and leadership during their training at Autry and I know they will do great things,” he said.
