ENID, Okla. —
Construction-related change orders will be taken up by the Enid Public Schools Board of Education when its members meet at 6:30 Monday night in the Enid High School auditorium.
The board will consider a change order increasing the contract with Timberlake Construction Co., Oklahoma City, by $28,575 for several electrical changes and irrigation work at Prairie View Elementary. Irrigation work accounts for nearly $13,000 of the total.
Board members also will take up a change order to reduce the amount of fencing at the new bus parking lot, saving $2,126, and remove two large trees on the fence line, adding $1,886, for a total that reduces the contract with Hembree and Hodgson Construction by $241.
The third change order would increase the contract with Heritage Construction by $4,381 for installation of horizontal louver blinds and additional signage for restrooms at Monroe Elementary.
In other matters, the board will review a slate of routine fund transfers, requests for purchases from activity funds, and encumbrances of various accounts.
An executive session to consider hirings, retirements and resignations also is on the agenda.

Donations being taken for tornado victims
Donations can be made by visiting www.redcross.org or $10 can be donated by texting “REDCROSS” to 90999. The donation will be added to your monthly cell phone bill. Monetary donations are being taken at the Red Cross office, 1023 West Elm, in Enid. A supply drop-off is at 2811 W. Garriott.
