Several area students are among the 48 Seniors of Significance named by Oklahoma State University Alumni Association for the 2012-13 academic year.
Area students honored are Rachel Benbrook, Woodward; Trindle Brueggen, Okarche; Kylie Castonguay, Omega; McKenzie Clifton, Kingfisher; Samantha Geis, Loyal; Bridget Harkin, Alva; and Jace White, Cherokee.
The award recognizes students who have excelled in scholarship, leadership and service to campus and community and have brought distinction to OSU.
“This group represents approximately one percent of the senior class and OSU’s best with their involvement in numerous service and leadership organizations,” said Larry Shell, OSU Alumni Association president. “We are honored to recognize them for their achievements and support them as they prepare to join the OSU alumni family.”
A public reception to recognize the winners and their families will be Monday at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center.
