Enrollment for Cimarron sophomores is 4-7 p.m. today and preschool through 9th is 8:30 a.m. Thursday. Classes will begin at 8:30 a.m. Aug. 19.
Cimarron has three new teachers this year. Roxi Hein will be teaching second grade, Melisa Crow will teach pre-kindergarten and Jared Swart will coach the junior high and high school baseball teams.

The first Cimarron Lady Blazers high school softball team will begin its season at 4 p.m. Aug. 20 in Kremlin.

Zion Lutheran preschool enrollment will be held 9 a.m. to noon Thursday. The preschool will be taking enrollment for 3- and 4-year-old children and also some 2-year-olds. Two-year-olds must be potty trained.
Zion Lutheran pre-school provides a Christian-based education while teaching ABCs and how to play and interact with other children, along with developing good social skills which help them to be better prepared to enter grade school. Students do not have to live in Lahoma or the Cimarron school district to attend. The classes will be 9 a.m. to noon Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
