Two people were injured in separate one-car accidents Saturday.
A Waukomis man was injured about 11:10 p.m. Saturday on 66th Street, north of Lucien Road.
Denny P. Patterson, 65, of Waukomis, was taken to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center with head and body injuries. He was listed in stable condition, according to an Oklahoma Highway Patrol report.
A 2007 Ford F-150 pickup driven by Patterson was northbound on 66th when it went out of control and left the roadway, striking a culvert. The vehicle continued another 25 feet before coming to rest.
A Guymon man was injured near Laverne when he apparently fell asleep at the wheel, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol. He was taken to Harper County Community Hospital, Buffalo, with head, leg and internal injuries. He was listed in stable condition.
The report stated a 2002 Isuzu driven by Tomas Chan-Macario, 25, was southbound on U.S. 283 about 7:10 p.m. Saturday north of Laverne.
Chan-Macario fell asleep and drifted to the right, then overcorrected to the left. The vehicle rolled two times before coming to rest on its wheels.
